Have you heard of Groover? It’s a new place to promote your music and get results. You’ve already heard that same claim from many other music promotion services, so what is it that makes Groover different? In this blog post, we will discuss how Groover can help you promote your music and see real results.
How does Groover promote your music?
This is the main difference between Groover compared to some of the other music promotion services. Groover isn’t about uploading your music and praying to the music gods that you will get some attention. Groover is focused on letting you the artist choose specific music curators, radio services, and other music professionals to send you music to. These people then listen to your songs and give you feedback. What’s more, if one of these professionals likes your songs they can then add your music to playlists, get your radio plays, social media shares, and so on.
How does Groover guarantee your songs will be listened to?
So this all sounds great, but how does Groover do all this great promotion? Well let’s start with the cost. To send your music to a professional industry contact, you end up paying for their Grooviz coins which come out to 2 Euros for 2 Grooviz coins. You then use the 2 Grooviz to send your track to your chosen contact. Groover then splits the fee evenly between themselves and the industry contact you sent your track to.
The curators and professionals are then required to give you feedback of no less than 15 words for each track after they listen to it. More importantly, this feedback is guaranteed within 7 days. Don’t get any feedback within those 7 days, then you get your Grooviz back so you can send your music to another curator.
So does this feedback matter? Well, you are able to get it straight from the horse’s mouth as it were. You can get direct feedback about your song structure, maybe something in the mix stands out in the wrong way, or maybe the song just lacks energy. You can take this feedback as creative criticism and use it to push your songs to a better level.
Why is Groover better for this than other platforms?
Honestly, I think if you are happy with another platform you are using, then just stick with it. But only if you a really really happy with it. If you have any concerns or issues with the other platforms, then it doesn’t hurt to at least give Groover a quick try.
Beyond the useful feedback you can get, you also have the opportunity that a curator or industry professional really likes your music. At that point, it can go beyond the “hey your song sounds really good.” You might have someone share their contact info with you so you can network with them. This could lead to new opportunities for you such as music placement in television or movies. Maybe it lines you up with a music promoter that offers you to join a segment of a tour. It all comes down to who you send your music to and how much they like it.
Still don’t know about Groover? That’s understandable. But Groover are definitely proud of their success stories and if you are still unsure about them, I encourage you to check them out here.
Should you use Groover to promote your music?
I think so! Groover is still a young company but they are quickly making a name for themselves in the music industry. I do not doubt that Groover will continue to grow and help more and more artists get their music out there. What’s more, with the way Groover is set up you really have nothing to lose by giving them a try. So if you are looking for a new way to promote your music, I say go for it and give Groover a shot!
